The Soul Mate Debate

I was sitting here thinking... what is something that is extrememly new in my life that I would love to share...

Personally, I feel as though I have found my soul mate. I know it sounds cheesy but... that is how I feel. But... is there a such thing as a soul mate? Let's see... how 'bout we define exactly what a soul mate is. Soul Mate: is a term sometimes used to designate someone with whom one has a feeling of deep affinity, friendship, love, strong intimacy, sexuality, or compatibility. Well... that is Webster's opinion of the situation. Some believe that soul mates were seperated at some point in time and may or maynot reunite. As far as my experience goes I feel the same way.

I met someone and intstantly felt a connection. Not lust, based on physical appearances but a true mysterious feeling. The best way I can describe it is a feeling like you are frozen and then suddenly your body begins to thaw out. A true tingling sensation. I really did not think of it much at first but... the more and more I spoke with this gentleman it was appearant.

Let me break it down. I believe God creates and "Adam" for every woman. He is definitely around somewhere in the world waiting to cross paths. Being that these two people are created for each other they are destined to meet. This male will in no means be perfect but together perfection will definitely occur when he connects with the woman of his destiny. A vast majority of women spend their lives looking for this connection. Thus, falling for the 'wrong' man. That is why I believe the divorce rate is up. Many people get involved with guys they have no business and attempt to 'make' it work. There is no such thing. I also believe that God put people in our lives to shape our personalities, character, and core values. When we wait on His direction and guidance we won't go wrong.

Back to my soul mate (hopeful), it is still a young situation but, I feel a strong connection to this person. He is by no means perfect, not I don't want a perfect person because I am not perfection myself. It is AWESOME when you meet someone who encompasses all that you want in a person. To me... that is a soul mate.

On the opposing side... may will argue there is no such thing as a soul mate. Women have to work with what they have and give, work, give, work, work to make the situation fit. Did I say work? Do not get me wrong one must work towards anything worth having. When is there a such thing as meaningless work. Alot of us are and have been working towards meaningless relationships with meaningless men.

Is there a such thing as a soul mate? I feel like I found mine. How do you feel?
